“What? How can that happen? You loved him, he should’ve been in love with you, simple. How can this be possible?” Aditya asks, disturbed by Mehek’s answer.
How can two best friends, where one of them loves the other one and that other one knows about it, get into a physical relationship? But did he really know? Had he ever read the words written after “I can share” in Mehek’s diary? No, he did not.
“I want us to forget this night” Mehek completed. She knew what she wanted, she was confident that this wasn’t love. And above everything else, she wanted Abhimanyu in her life.
Before he could respond, she hugged him. Her body was shaking, that wasn’t because of the pain, but it was the result of her fear, the fear of losing Abhimanyu.
For Abhimanyu, she was special and he was in a relationship. He knew what she was doing, is the right thing to do.
What will come to your mind, if you are sitting with a friend, holding his hand, a friend you’ve had your life’s most beautiful moment with? Friend you’ve had your first kiss with? Awkward? Exactly. They were feeling the same.
“The pain of dying is easier than to see someone dying.” she looked at Abhimanyu’s face.
He tightened his arms around her and said “I know. And I don’t wanna lose my love too.”
It's strange how love is, it makes you sacrifice whatever you have. Somewhere, she was losing everything too and somewhere, she wanted to lose everything, everything for him, his half love and complete presence.
Mehek is sitting inside the Indira Gandhi International airport's waiting area. She is staring at the entry door with eager eyes. In her eyes both helplessness and hopelessness are clearly visible.
A handsome, dusky, tall guy of something around 6’2 sits beside her. In her helplessness she ignores looking at him. Intrigued by her behavior, the guy gives his hand, “Hi” he says.
“Hi” Mehek replies, with a puzzled look. Then quickly shakes his hand then turns her head towards the entry again.

"God this guy hates me so much."

We are all wearing masks to be something we are not. Remove it and find yourself.
The movie speaks on a very deep topic of how we all have to pretend to be something we are not. And how our society doesn't accept people who are different or not "not-normal" according to their criterias.
Plato's Allegory of the Cave plays a big role in this film. The concept is incorporated throughout this entire film. The people who are wearing the masks represent the prisoners and the ignorance they have about the world. The girl who wears the white mask is the one prisoner who escapes the world of lies.
